Mission Statement

Organization Purpose

The purpose of Poland Evangelical Mission is to bring the good news of salvation, as found in the Bible, to the people of Poland.

Poland Evangelical Mission (PEM) was formed for the purpose of helping the Evangelical Church in Poland spread and teach the Gospel message, as found in the New Testament of the Bible, to the people of Poland. This is done by growing existing churches, planting new churches, reaching youth and adults outside of churches, and providing theological training for those who want to be pastors or church leaders. PEM helps the Evangelical churches in Poland by raising funds to supplement pastoral salaries and for church buildings, property, and projects as well as for Christian camps, and schools. We also assist by finding and sending volunteer Christian laborers, musicians, teachers, and speakers who help with building projects or who help staff camps, schools, and special outreach events.

We have eight purposes, goals, or activities, which we are trying to achieve:

  1. Raise financial assistance for evangelical pastors in Poland.
  2. Provide laborers, leaders, and financial assistance for church camps such as Camp Eden in Ocwieka, Poland. This also applies to day camps, which are typically held in communities where there are no Evangelical churches.
  3. Provide financial assistance to educational institutions, which exist to train Christian leaders and pastors in Poland.
  4. Raise financial assistance for special church building projects and ministries.
  5. Assist in the training of leaders for educational and ministry purposes.
  6. Organize and send teams of students and church workers, who volunteer their services, to church camps in Poland for: teaching English, developing programs, providing leadership, and Christian instruction.
  7. Organize and send ministry/music teams, who volunteer their time, to serve in churches and public schools and orphanages in Poland.
  8. Organize and send volunteer construction teams to help build, repair, or expand churches, camps and Christian educational institutions.
  9. It should be noted that to date and for the foreseeable future all of our activities have been accomplished on a volunteer basis. None of our directors or anyone enlisted to help our board of directors is paid a salary or any kind of reimbursement for their time and efforts. All teams or individuals we have sent to Poland have been responsible for all costs incurred.
